Book of the Season: Discovering Holiness

A great book I came across a few years ago were I gained many insights and lot that resonated with me. People who know me know, spiritually, I identify as a Muslim, but I've always been interested in scripture whether it was Christianity, Islam, or Judaism.

When exploring Islam further I found one of the Six Articles of Faith was to believe in these books because they were all sent from the Divine Source but to always have discernment because some of the original texts have been changed over the centuries. So, I continue to seek out Divine Scripture and share it because it's what I enjoy and may I note, as a believer it's an actual duty for you to seek out this sort of knowledge as well as other topics.

Ignorance is a big sin in Islam, can't comment on other religions because I don't know.

Personally, this book, was a bit of an under-dog, it gave me an element of surprise, I ordered a load all together and didn't have much of a focus on it, until later. But I'm glad it was that way, sometimes, you must learn other things before you can see clearly what some things mean. It's truly a wonderful little book of insights that enlightens the mind and would recommend to anyone despite religion or race to read.

The book itself clearly depicts a clear perspective of what holiness is and how to practice it daily along with prayers for all different aspects of life. What I love most about the book is that's its super easy to digest and very concise. With a range of intriguing illustrations by Stephen Foster.

I hope you enjoy my first recommendation in this category with many more to come. Remember life is a journey, if you was born with knowing it all then what would be the point of life itself. It's only on our paths we can enjoy these little gems we discover.
