My favourite essential oil purely because it's the meaning of my name and personally I think it has one of the most beautiful scents out of all of them.
Jasmine was introduced into Europe in the 16th century from Persia. Widely used for perfuming from Indians, Chinese and Arabs which has made it an ancient favourite.

The delicate white flower is one of the most exploited flowers around the world not only for perfumes, but fabric softeners, essential oil's and herbal teas, unsurprisingly, as it has a rich-intense fragrance that is exotic and warm. The Rose flower along with Jasmine is the most expensive extracts.
Interestingly one of the most used flowers for symbolism of harmony and peace by many countries. It can be best described as a mood enhancer and aphrodisiac. As mentioned on my first post on the series of Nature's Gift, it's a relaxing oil.
Their healing powers can be used to treat the following common problems:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Eczema
- Painful periods
- Sexual problems
Best uses:
- Inhalation
- Baths
- Massage
